The child price is £14.99 at the first five branches (children under 13 and under 150cm), while Wood Green charges £13 on weekdays and £14 at weekends for children under 150cm. Who Pays the Child Price
At Croydon, Ilford, Watford, Wembley and Cardiff, the child price applies only to children who are both under 13 years old and under 150cm tall. Staff measure height at reception. At Wood Green, the page says the child price applies to children under 150cm, subject to measurement at reception.
The official FAQ page also states that children under 90cm eat for free. Check this with the branch before you book, because the individual branch pages do not repeat it.
What Is Not Included in the Price
Drinks are not included at any branch. A discretionary 5% service charge is noted on the Croydon, Ilford, Watford and Wembley pages. The bars accept card payments only.

JRC Global Buffet Opening Times by Branch
Every branch page gives a last admittance rule. At Croydon, Ilford, Watford, Wembley and Cardiff, last admittance is 90 minutes before closing and the kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing. At Wood Green, last admittance is 60 minutes before closing.
On weekdays, all six branches open in the late afternoon, so the buffet is a dinner service from Monday to Friday. Lunch service is available at weekends. Wood Green is the only page that mentions a weekday lunch special (Monday to Friday, not on bank holidays), but it publishes no price or hours for it. Call 020 8881 1155 or 020 4568 1860 to ask.

The official menu page names 12 cuisines: Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Thai, Italian, British, Brazilian, Lebanese, Spanish, Mexican, Greek and French. JRC states that the menu shown online is for illustration only and that not every dish is available at every restaurant. The menu also differs between lunch and dinner and rotates with the seasons.

Photos on Yelp from the Watford and London branches show items such as prawn toast, chicken wings, duck neck, massaman beef curry and prawn crackers. Third party sources also describe a dessert area with cakes and a chocolate fountain, though availability varies by branch.
The Ilford Tripadvisor listing describes more than 300 dishes and 12 live cooking stations from 12 countries. A 2019 Channel 5 documentary synopsis said the Watford restaurant covers 27,000 square feet, serves up to 350 dishes and can feed up to 3,000 people a day. Treat these as scale indicators, not guarantees for each visit.

At the £26.99 weekday price, this works out to about £13.50 per adult. An older campaign page showing the code JRC241 was valid from 30 March to 25 June 2026 and has ended. Cardiff and Wood Green are not on the participating list.
Free Birthday Meal
JRC offers a free birthday meal at its branches. You must follow these rules:
- Reserve a table at least 24 hours in advance.
- Your birthday must fall on the day of the reservation.
- A full paying adult must accompany the birthday guest.
- Bring valid photo ID, such as a passport, driving licence or birth certificate.
- Bring your reservation confirmation reference number.
You can bring your own birthday cake, but smoke producing candles such as sparklers and fountain candles are not allowed for fire safety reasons.
Christmas 2026
JRC says prices stay unchanged through the festive season. Festive dining runs from 1 to 31 December, and the restaurants are closed on 24 and 25 December. Groups of 6 or more who book by 30 November get a complimentary bottle of house wine or sparkling wine, subject to terms.
The Christmas page also has a branch by branch opening hours table for 23 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. It lists Watford, Croydon, Ilford, Cardiff and Wembley, and Wood Green is not in its selector, so check the official page or call before travelling.
Booking, Deposits and Seating Rules
You can book through the official website or by phone, though the FAQ warns that phone lines can be busy. Walk-ins are possible, but the rules below affect both groups.

The Wembley Park website says the Wembley branch serves both halal and non-halal dishes, and the Ilford Tripadvisor listing tags the branch as halal, vegetarian friendly and offering vegan options.
